9/25/2020 - Notice of Public Meeting for the Wastewater Treatment Plant Improvement Project
The City of Salina will hold a public meeting on October 19, 2020 at 4:00 p.m. at the City/County Building, 300 W. Ash Street, Room 107, Salina, Kansas 67401 to present and discuss alternatives for the Wastewater Treatment Plant Improvement Project. The improvements will be funded under the low interest State Revolving Loan Fund Program through the Kansas Department of Health and Environment. The Loan application will include funding for the following improvement:
Wastewater Treatment Plant Improvement Project to include: design, construction of a conventional treatment process to achieve nitrogen and phosphorus removal, and repair and replacement of equipment and structures with an estimated total project cost of $31,500,000.
The anticipated amount of the loan application request will be $31,500,000. The treatment alternatives and wastewater rates will be discussed at the public meeting and comments by the public will be considered. Oral and written comments will be accepted.
