1/22/2023 - EASTBOUND CLOUD STREET CLOSED FOR MAINTENANCE

On Monday and Tuesday, January 23rd and 24th, APAC-Kansas, Inc., Shears Division of Salina will close to traffic eastbound Cloud Street from Quincy to Norton to adjust manholes to match the recent resurfacing.

Westbound traffic will be able to pass; eastbound traffic will be detoured south one block to Max, east one block to Norton, then north one block back to Cloud.

From Monday through Thursday, January 23rd through 26th, they will close to traffic eastbound Cloud Street from Roach to Lewis for the same reason.

Westbound traffic will be able to pass; eastbound traffic will be detoured south five blocks to Albert, then east three blocks to Ohio.

Through traffic in both directions is urged to avoid the area altogether or proceed with caution for the safety of the crews performing the work.

The work is part of last year's $965,000 ultrathin bonded asphalt surfacing project, which was a major part of the City of Salina's $4.7 million street maintenance capital improvement program.
