The Art a la Carte concert series on Friday, May 2nd, will feature the South Middle School Sensations. The half-hour performances begin at 12:20 p.m. each Friday and are held at Campbell Plaza in the 100 block of south Santa Fe.
South Middle School Sensations is an auditioned, select eighth-grade ensemble under the direction of Miriam Gogadi, accompanied by Barb Miller. The Sensations’ repertoire includes “Elijah Rock,” a traditional spiritual arranged by Roger Emerson, “I Won’t Give Up,” by Jason Mraz and Michael Natter, and a “Footloose” medley arranged by Mark Bymer.
In inclement weather, Art a la Carte performances are held at the Stiefel Theatre for the Performing Arts, 151 S. Santa Fe.
